Do you live in the UK?

I know that many other Brits in the community often feel that many others are US-based.

I love the US - DDers on here.

But I thought it would be nice to see how many other UK people there are out there, especially ones that I don't know about.

Not sure why, perhaps it's the impending jubilee and I'm feeling patriotic!

So please please please comment to tell me that you are from the UK, for my own amusement, to see how many Brits read this!

Spit Spot, tally-ho, cheery-ho old chum...

Let's be patriotic!

God save the queen and a smacked bottom!

    1. I would like to answer, but I fear that this would turn into a political debate.

Thanks for reading though, and commenting, LOVE comments.

    1. Hoorah, and welcome. There is some great blogs out there and lots of lovely communities, so get yourself involved! I'm sure you are.

      South Coast? hoorah again.

Yes the rain has been hideous hasn't it. West or East?
I spent the day taking an art workshop in a marquee in a field. I'm chilled and my feet are soaked! heho, rain never got us Brits down, and it shan't ever!

      Tally-Ho!

    2. Right in the middle! Sorry for the late reply - I've actually been out enjoying some sunshine but I'm back inside today trying desperately to keep to the schedule HOH has set me. I got the wooden spoon on Friday for not having done all the tasks to a high enough standard - although compared to you it was child's play at only 12 strokes. Not sure I'm going to show her your blog in case it gives her any ideas!

    3. Haha! I have had others say that too! As time goes on you start to realise that you can now take more than before!.

I remember first finding a post that someone had written about a switch - I was horrified, but here I am getting a switchin'!

Have you taken a look at the LDD blog or TIH? THey helped us at the start.

Good luck on your journey Sam, it's a strange, yet incredible one!

  4. Just found your blog and am very much enjoying it so far, it is nice to see some good patriotism.
I myself am from the UK, but currently live in the US with my American husband. People here are so proud of their country (even when they don't like the way it is run so it seems), I think the British should show this type of patriotism too!
I am very proud to be a Brit and love my homeland, my family are still there and I love my regular yearly visits!

  5. Hi Anonymous.

Although there is definite sarcasm to this post, I am very patriotic. After living in Mexico for some time, I began to realise just how lucky we are.

    Thanks for reading and commenting.

  6. Seems there are not so many of us from the UK, not those who blog anyways, but I have noticed lately quite a significant jump in UK 'viewers' from my stats. They're out there it would seem :)
